Price check on a ruger hawkeye?

A buddy is selling a 4 year old Ruger Hawkeye in 7mm Rem Mag, 22 inch barrel and its the model that comes with iron sights. It has 12 rounds through it, range use only. I'm thinking about picking it up as a go to rifle and was wondering what its worth. Thanks all,

Kind of depend on which stock is on the rifle, the laminate is more expensive than the plastic, $550- $600

I paid $500 for my m77 SS Hawkeye last fall. I wouldnt pay $600+ for a used m77

Agree with Bartell, I picked one up brand new retail for $650 tax and shipping included.
