Hello, looking for some help from the gun pros on here. I have Winchester 94AE 30-30win I got in the fall last year. I haven't used it and I'm thinking of moving it but don't know what to ask for it ? I don't want to rip anyone off with very high price, but I don't want to give it away from nothing.

I've been seening 94's going for in the $325 to $500 range on the EE, but haven't really seen any AE's for sale. Inside the barrel is in excellent shape well taking care of no rust or damage. The outside of the gun is in very good/ good shape if I went by Epps firearms condition chart. I'm thinking of taking it to Epps this weekend to see what they say, but I want to get some idea from the helpful folks on here before I walk in there. If there are any questions you need to ask me I'll try my best to answer then for you. Here is a picture of the gun.

Thanks for your help.

The AE s are in less demand than earlier models. Probably a safe estimate would be around $350. Without pictures to see wood grain etc it is hard to estimate. After clicking the picture I see it has nice wood so maybe you could get a bit more, depends on how much the buyer wants to spend. Just my .02

Thank you, I just trying to get an idea on a price before I do anything. I've never sold any guns before so any tip I can get helps me.

If you take it to a retailer you will be given less because they need to make money on resale like everbody else. Maybe check if he has any AE models and what he is asking for them to give you an idea. I have had good luck posting here on the EE, if you ask a reasonable price you shouldn`t have any problem. Good luck
