Price Check on Buckmark Camper

I know a guy locally wanting to sell his 4 year old Browning Buckmark Camper (Black not SS) and was wondering what the price range is for a used one.

His price, as of last I talked to him, was $10 more than the local gun store has it new (not including taxes).

I wanted to get an idea of what a used model is worth before starting any haggling over price.

I believe it comes with 2 mags as that will factor into the price as well.

Most people sell a used gun in excellent condition for around 20% less than retail. Most guns come with 2mags, not sure about the buckmark.
 
Thats comes to right about what I thought it "Should" be worth, give or take $10.

I did a search in the EE but didn't find any past Camper sales.

Anyone else is free to chime in as well if they have bought/sold one of the Campers.
 
Never tried the Camper, but I have a Buckmark and love it. I've been shooting it about two years now and I am very satisfied with it. It feeds and functions very well with the Remington sub sonic ammo as well as high and hyper velocity stuff. Accuracy is good also. It's a nice treat to shoot the quiet ammo once in awhile. And I have owned about every make of .22 semi I can think of, the Buckmark is a good one in my opinion. I like it more than the Colt Woodsman it started as a copy of.
 
I have a Buckmark Standard in SS. I paid 400.00 for it last year and it only came with one mag. Great gun, shoots very well. Makes my friends with Norinco's jealouse. Mags in Canada are expensive I bought an extra one for around $40.oo but I bought 2 in the USA for about $25 CDN. If your guy won't come down in price, screw him! Buy the new one it'a a great gun to start plinking with.
 
I sold a blued Camper last summer for $225 with a after market rail....I think they were only $260 at wholesale...great little gun but I went and replaced it with a buckmark contour.
 
I just called a couple of gun stores this morning ( ont.) buckmark sts camper bull bbl. $360-$370. Im also looking for one.

Well new price here is $340 + tax (13%) until Wholesale opens later this month anyway.
