Price check on norinco 1911 Gov

Im looking to do my own work, so i want a plain 1911 gov model norinco. Who has the best prices? OK, i know marstar does but i got stung when i placed an order with them (my first firearm purchase ever and they screwed it up), empty promises etc.

So who else has them?

Marstar is the importer; any dealer will have got their supplies through them. Why not give them another try? Phone the order in, so you are dealing with a person.

Personally, I'd give Marstar another try. They do have the best prices on the Norc 1911's. Especially, if you are going to do your own work.

That said, if I was starting out and not doing my own work & wanted a 'tuned' stock Norc ready to go I'd get one from Armco...

Again, I'd try to resolve the issue through Marstar, as they have proven to be a stand-up outfit time after time and are $75-$100 cheaper than elsewhere. Like others have suggested, order by phone and don't use email.

I believe Dark International (www.darkinternational.com) has prices that are quite similiar to Marstar. Rodger is the name of the owner and he is located in the Ontario. I personally had great dealings with Rodger. Highly recommend buying from him; excellent service. He is a real straight shooter and stands behind his product.

Gunnar Christenson of Armco is impossible to beat far as tuned up great priced Norinco's. He would be my first choice if I wanted a Norinco 1911. I have handled the stock Norinco 1911's which aren't very impressive and then a post Norinco 1911's tuned up by Gunnar and they are quite nice. He sure does alot to them for the money. He can be reached on the board....I believe he goes by 7.62X51 or you can reach him via his web sight http://www.armco-guns.com/ , I know you wanted a stocker/non tuned and I'm not sure if Gunnar sells them untuned due to Norinco's reliability/quality controll issues. He is quite the perfectionist. Good luck.
