Price check please on a used Leupold

Hello Gents,

Was wondering if someone could help me out with a ball park on a used scope.

I'm going to put it into the EE but don't want to be one of those guys that asks a stupid price and then the CGN folks laugh at

I got it for a rifle build but have moved on to other projects.

It's a Leupold Vari-X-III 6.5-20X40mm

The glass is fine but the tube shows mounting marks, some of which have been touched up with a cold blue pencil.

If someone could chime in with some numbers it would be greatly appreciated.

You should be able to get 400-450 for that scope. FS

You can also go on there web site and type in the serial number on the left side and they will tell you how old the scope is. If that would be any help to you. I have the same scope with the target turrets added and I was told by my gun shop 500.00
