Guys:

I have a Rem 700 SA with a PGW 7.62 NATO stainless HB with a HS Precision stock (detachable mag).

Any idea what a fair asking price would be for this? I am not the original owner but I have shot only match ammo and handloads in it.. probably 400 rounds. It shoots about 1/2 MOA if I do my part.

It is the top rifle in this pic:

Thoughts on a reasonable asking price?

How much you pay for it? You're the original owner? :edit: or a rough estimate? :edit: and knowing how much you could get a brand new gun for, how much would you pay for one that has already shot 400 rounds? That number is it. I'd give you 100 bucks for it right now if you just want "something" ;). jk. I'll leave it at that. I'm no expert.

What kind of detachable mag? No scope/bipod included? How many rounds did the original owner say he/she put through that barrel? Bedded? Trigger work?

I'm *guessing* if the round count is low from the previous owner you could ask about 1300 bucks, plus whatever the mag conversion is worth. I have no idea how much one of those barrels is worth, but a new mike rock is about $550-ish, for perspective.

*edit -whoa! $1000 bucks? Either I guessed really high, or you got a smoking deal! A vanilla varmint is about that price, with no pgw barrel or mag...

It's a used gun, period. You've shot 400 rds. but how many were fired BEFORE you got it? What brand is the barrel? So, PGW accurized the action, installed the barrel, and bedded the rifle? Correct?

Hard to say exactly what it's worth without knowing more specifics. Generally, customs don't hold their resale value extremely well when you build them from scratch, however, that doesn't appear to be an issue here. Your original purchase price was likely fair at the time you bought it.

I don't think PGW makes their own barrels, if so I stand corrected. That looks like a Mike Rock M24 contour barrel.
