Hello, I was wondering if you boys could tell me how much this gun is worth,

Remington, Pump Action, 30-06 Springfield
Model 760 Gamemaster
22 inch barrel
Sling and sling mounts.
Scope, Bushnell Banner 3-9x

Thanks,
Crazy Lee

I normally figure somewhere in the range of 50% to 75% of the current replacement cost as a starting point for used rifles. This may go up because of condition or desirability of the chambering or down because of condition or bad reputation of the firearm. Scopes have little effect unless they're top of the line.

The 760 is a gun with a good reputation (unless you're a bolt snob), the chambering is good though common and the condition is good. These all sound like plusses for your gun. See what the market will bear.

i'm out west and don't have a bolt in the bunch- and it's a considerable bunch- levers,(natch) and semis- but no bolts-

Remember, the 760 was discontinued long ago, using 7600 prices related to a 760 is not really valid. I agree ,$ 450 for a mint one is about right for most calibres, .223, .257 roberts are worth more, .35 rem, .300 sav, less.

I wouldnt mind tracking one down in 35 rem and rechambering it for a 356 WIN

I just sold one in 308 to a CGN'r for a steal
350-500.00 usually depending on condition etc.
I sold Mine with 3 mags and both wood and synthetic stock for between there, and it was in pretty good shape. Blueing worn on the sharpe edges of the reciever but that was about it.

358 Winchester would be a better re-chamber than 356. Just use a .308 mag with no other changes, and no rim to worry about. I've done it :!:

35 rem and 356 have same rim Dia.
Would be basically the same, with Minor fiddling with the mag, and I allready have one 356 Win, and a whack of brass...
Just a more fun/Unique chambering

.35 Remington has a .460" rim...the 356 Winchester is the same as a 30-30,307 Win, 32 Special, 38-55, 375 Win etc. at .506"
