Hello, hopefully the price check is ok, its been awhile for me since I've been on these forums.

I've had this Ruger M77 Hawkeye Compact (walnut stock) sitting in my safe for years wearing a Leupold VX-II (2-7x33) bought it new and probably took it to the range twice and never really found a use for it. Was hoping my Wife would take to hunting but that never happened. Im now looking at finding it a new home and I might have some interest already. Id appreciate some ballpark estimates on used price..thank you.

I bought pretty much identical to what you describe - likely similar condition - same rifle / but this scope is VX-1 2-7x33 - I paid $1300 in May 2021, through CGN EE. Like several others here, I have never even fired that one yet!! From checking serial numbers on-line - the rifle was made in 2010 and the scope was made in 2012.

I've got a stainless/ Laminate M77 MKII compact 16" with timney trigger and elite 3200 scope listed at $1400.

I thought that was high, but maybe I need to revisit the price.
