So I have a friend who uncle is asking $800 for the revolver mentioned in the title, is this a reasonable price or is the guy a little crazy? I just thought I'd ask the experts thanks in advance.
 
A lot is condition dependent but I'd think $500-600 would be more on the mark if it's decent.

Then again I'm a Colt and Smith fanboy so maybe I'm selling the Ruger short.;)
 
From what I know buddy's uncle is pretty intense about keeping his gear in good condition so I imagine it would be like new. Thanks for the quick reply. Now to see if I can batter him down a little haha
 
I have a fellow that tells me his s-w 39 is worth 600.oo
I bought a stainless 2.5' ruger s.s for 250 the other day.
Most of these are 4 in.-12-6
 
Thanks for all the responses. I was pretty sure he was asking too much, I'll have to see if he has dies and components included for that price. Haven't actually spoken with him just his nephew if I can actually see him while he's in town I could get more info.
 
Had a stainless one listed on EE last year for 600$ it took a week to sell i let it go for 550$ but that was last year....if u really like it don't pay a penny over 600$
