Price check Savage 99

Look for one with a serial number below 1 million.
Look for one that doesnt have an aftermarket recoil pad installed.(and dont install one after you buy it)
Look for one that doesnt have an arrangement of "bubba holes" drilled in the top of the reciever. (or worse yet the sides)
Original sights are a big bonus. Tang peep sights are an even bigger bonus.

After that its all about condition.
Lots of decent used 99F's in .300 out there. (Featherweights)
and very nice rifles.
Also lots of 99EG's with the longer barrel and schnable forearms.

Price range is all over the board depending on the individual rifle.
Expect to buy your first and then own another 10 or 12 within a year or two.

Low 3"s for seriel #
No recoil pad
Original peeps sights
No holes.
Lots of wear.
Any idea how much $$$

What do you mean original peep sights? What kind of sights is it wearing?

Low threes could mean it's a hard to find model, can you send me pics?

It took me 3 weeks to sell an EG on the board and it went for $375. Never buy another EG in 300 again.

Shoot me an email of it, maddog@canadiangunnutz
