Price check - SVT 40

Condition?
Sling with or not
Bayonet??

Price is always What you really want

The price is always too expensive but What you pay is What you get

OR4NGE: I've sold a few (typical refurbs) in the past 6 months for anywhere from $600 to $800. Dealers appear to ask more, on average. A lot depends on what you're looking for- solid shooter with solid stock and good bore (latter being fairly unusual) will likely set you back $700+. Based on my experience, maybe fewer than one in ten have an excellent bore. You should still be able to find one for sale that is unused post refurb. Great rifles and well worth the current prices.

I purchased mine for 700$ around half a year ago, it came with an SVT-40 sling and a Russian carrying bag (not sure if it was SVT-40 specific for a generic, fit well for it though). 1941 Podolsk refurb all matching besides magazine, no visible cracks on the stock and the rifle looked like it was in good condition (milsurp newbie here so can't go in specifics of barrel condition and such). Depending on the seller the year and factory might change the price but I usually see them for around 650 - 800$.
