Price Check - Used Loading Setup

Hi all,

I have decided to stumble into the reloading world.

I have found a guy with a kit for sale, and would like to know if his price is good.

Includes in package:

RC II press with LG/SM primer tubes
RCBS Powder measure
5-0-5 scale
RCBS trickler
case lube pad
shell holders
primer tray
RCBS .22-250 dies
Reloading manual
RCBS crank style trimmer
case deburring tool
case brushes
a few other small things I can't recall in a tupperware box.

The whole setup is in excellent shape, it looks hardly used.

He wants $450 for the whole works. I thought it sounded like a pretty good deal, I just wanted to double check with folks that know more about it than I do.

Well, most of those components are pretty close to what is in the RC Supreme Kit

and it retails for $430 plus tax.

Looks like you're getting shell holders, the .22-250 dies and the Case Trimmer (not sure which model you have) for 'free'.

Any appreciable differences between the RC Supreme and the RC II presses?

Pro's and cons of the RCBS hand primer or the RC II built in primer feed tubes?

Sorry for all the seemingly simple questions, but I am getting smarter with every thread read!!!

Edit: It looks like the RCBS case trimmer that retails for around $100.

So realistically, $140 worth of extras with the trimmer and dies. (new prices)

That kit retails for $229 US without the trimmer and dies from Midsouth Shooters Supply.
