Price check - winchester 1907 .351

I just inherited a great looking winchester 1907 in .351.

These were one of the first self loading rifles, I was just wondering how much they are worth

I sold 3 just before Christmas for under $300 each I think. Regretted it ever since. Wish that I had kept at least one. Needed the cash and something had to go.

Depending on condition, I've seen them for sale from $400-$600 unmolested. I've got 3 lovely ones and a giant heap of factory ammo to feed them for years!

with out pic to see condition ,with some blue and no pits /rust ,clean wood with a couple hairline cracks and a mag ,decent shootable dark bore with some minor pits ,one like this I would go to 250-350 .The better original condition the more they are going to be worth ,Lyman peep sight in clean working condition add 200( would call it a sport and hunting rifle unless military marked )

Hard sells, had one in great condition in .401 took a month to get 500 for it with ammo,

These guns have very heavy recoil, not many out their without cracks in the fore end.

on average you are correct ,they do take a while to sell as they are an acquired flavour in a neat old rifle with somewhat difficult to acquire ammo and components
