How much for a 338win supergrade mdl 70 winchester cost David miller designed stock

Condition??

I paid $850 for a lightly used model 70 classic supergrade .338 a couple years ago, metal and wood in excellent condition. I think i got a fair deal. Prices went up some since then because USRA shut down operations.

Seen them advertised for quite a bit more on the EE, but asking price is not always the same as selling price. Depends how bad you "need" it.

The aftermarket stock can add value for some buyers, and no value for others. Depends on you.

That rifle is a "Classic" action built just a couple of years before the Winchester plant was closed. The "David Miller" stock is a factory sporter style that is a little thinner and more streamlined than the original "Classic" stock. This is NOT a David Miller rifle which is a totally different - and much more expensive - beast.

New that rifle sold for around $1000.00 in most places although I saw some "optimistic" retailers asking well over $1200.00.

As a used rifle condition means everything. In "As new condition" it could fetch a thousand bucks or more. If it is banged up at all the selling price could be half that.
