Hi Guys

I have a Lee Enfield NO4 MK1, Longbranch version- all the wood is there
Not bad condition
Have a spike bayonet with it, 2 extra ladder sights, 4 extra battle sights, 2 bolt heads, sear springs, trigger, sight detent springs

I am looking to sell or trade it, but no idea really what to ask for it
Thanks

Dave

I disagree. If it's a matching original 1941 Mk1, not FTR, it's worth considerably more than $400 ;)

Somehow, I doubt it's a Mk1 though... let alone an unmolested one.

Probabl a 43 or 44 Mk1*. If matching in decent shape with decent bore, it's about a $250-$400 gun depending on condition. Maybe as high as $500-600 if unissued, just out of the wrap.

its a 1942 made- not FTR- its an Longbranch Mk1*
pretty much all original
I got it a year ago , and have added a safety and rear ladder sight- the mag and reciver match, the bolt # is not
Rifling is sharp, no pits in the bore- its not real pretty, but all the wood is original to the rifle

I am looking to trade it toward an 870 express or similar shotgun to hunt with

Put it in the EE for $1000

In a week drop it to $900

In another week, $800

You get the idea

Include good pictures that people dont have to email you for...

non FTR with a mismatched bolt, full wood should be in the $200 - $300 range

spare parts will increase the price a bit, Bolt heads depending on the numbers on them are fairly desireable, its getting hard to find No2 bolt heads, No0 and No1 are easy to find and No3 bolt heads are rare finds.

rear sites, the battle sights are out there, very cheap, ladder type sights can be easily found and if you have micrometer ladder sights they are worth a bit more.

and pictures would help a lot.

if you list the rifle for $300 you should find a buyer and $50 for all the spare parts sounds fair.

PS I bought my last longbranch 1942 as well for $45 and it just needed a wood stock and a few metal bits, which I had in my spare bin , bolt is matching :)
