Hello, I was wondering if there is a website out there that could provide "ballpark" retail values for military rifles? I'm more interested to see "what type" compared to "how good" in such rifles as Lee, P14-17(R,RE,Edddystone). I would be grateful for any info on pricing. Thanks

Tough question with so many variables, but if you are looking for "comps" within the same collection of data, then a place to start would be a U.S. web site called C&R Buds (click here)http://www.fo.com/cr-buds/.

It hosts Manowar's Firearm Values (click here)

Keep in mind these are U.S. prices (somewhat outdated as prices have risen dramatically) and you have to convert for currency, plus there are some types of firearms that have widespread price shifts. This is generally because of different U.S. collector interests and variable supply on opposite sides of the border.

Hope this helps ..... :)

Regards,
Badger

"...these are U.S. prices..." U.S. values have nothing to do with Canadian values. Epp's page isn't a bad place to get an idea of what a particular rifle is worth, retail. If they have whatever you're looking for in stock.

The American market is so different than our market too, it's like apples and oranges...they can still buy Enfields for $179 for example while our closed market fights over them for $350-$500. Many other examples abound...

True enough. It's a whole different world down there, ARs, FALs ,AKs abound and all are cheaper than dirt! I'll check the canadian lists. Probably better to just ask here on these forums after all! Thanks
