I see Canada Ammo Has the Type-97 Preorder listed at $849. Would you do a Price match like that for the rest of us Who pre-Ordered through SFRC for $999?

Hardly an unfair request/question...every major retailer will more often than not offer to match a competitors price. It's just good business sense and good customer service. It just depends on the overheads and profit margin really. If it was my business, is rather take the money than let my competition have it.

Isnt the can am version on their site the old T97A? As in the one that was prohib'd by RCMP?

I think this is an apples to oranges discussion.

actually I think its not unfair just unrealistic. the demand for this gun is high, no other retailer needs to price match to sell out.

Canada Ammo was $999 then later changed the price.

No its the new one.

We won't be price matching them. To the best of my knowledge the Canada Ammo ones are the T97A ones that were deemed full auto. Ours will be a reworked model, distributor exclusive, that is non restricted. I highly doubt you'll see Canada Ammo with any T97NSR's.

This is what I’m thinking. It would be good to hear CanAms position. I have a feeling his prices are for his batch. He is waiting for the official ruling on the new ones. Then he will try and get his batch in somehow which will fail. Best case he will then import his own shipment on the approved rifle design, but don’t expect to receive them for 2 years. If these new 97s get approved I have no problem paying 150 more for a guaranty to have one before I’m old and grey.

How would they be able to sell prohibs? or are you suspecting this is an old post?
