I have an opportunity to purchase a large number of collet pulled .308 bullets from military surplus ammo. 147gr FMJ. Any idea what these things might retail per 100 or per 1000. I'm trying to figure out if it will be worth it.

Higginson's is indicating a price of $21.50/100 for Hornady-308-150FMJ, so you can't charge that much. I would think that $16/100 or $150/1000 would probably be the most you could ask for and have people seriously consider it. If you could sell for $100-$120 per 1000, that would be starting to approach a no-brainer, "back-up-the-truck" sort of price.

I really like those Hornady 150gr FMJBT bullets and the price at which Higginsons sells them.

If the surplus bullets were pristine (no pull marks, bright and clean) and of a BT design, I'd gobble them up at even 10% less than Higginson's price, otherwise, it's not worth it to me
