I am considering selling my Savage 10 FP
It is in very good shape and has a Choate Ultimate Varmint stock and a 20 MOA ECG scope base
The usual safe kisses and range hugs
What do you think I should ask?

if its all in good shape, low round count, new cost(without tax) - 20%

see if you get any bites, its only worth what someone is willing to pay

just my 2 cents,

$750 is fair for it with the original stock IMO .... whats the Choate stock worth ..... add some for the stock and list it ....if it sells quick you went too low(ops) ....if you get no hits then lower the price ...... how many others are on the EE right now ...do a search back a year and see how many are still listed .......that's what I do ....

Thanks for the advice
New choate stocks like these sell for 295

70% to 80% of new, if it's in good shape (not including taxes and shipping) and you'd be doing well. Sometimes it's hard to use what you actually paid as a baseline. Those rifles in their base form are available from board sponsors for around $700 if you shop around. Check the EE for comparable models. It's all about supply and demand. If new ones are scarce and people are willing to pay... You do the math :)
