Rifle was built on a Rem Sportsman 78 it is chamber in 308 Tightneck has a Sako extractor and a very nice trigger and a Mcmillan ( i believe ) bench stock in Urban Camo
Have not had time to use it for quite a while and would like to sell it but have no clue what to ask. Looking for some help.

just sold one based on a 700 repeater with a jewel 2 ounce trigger in the same stock, $1200 for the rifle with no optics was challenge, and selling a benchgun in 308 rather then 6ppc could be more of a challenge. The stock is $700 to replace, the action 4-500 depending on trigger and possibly more due to trigger, barrels are almost a right off, $150, more if you know the round count and it's low, again depends on maker, and of course the smith that put it all together. Based on the intended use could take a while to find the right buyer, then again there could be a motivated buyer out there waiting for a rifle like this to pop up for sale

If it were me I would start at $1500 shipped and see what happens. You could always drop the price. You are not in the very expensive difficult to sell > $3000 category with this rifle.
