Just got In the cap and ball game just to realize caps are non existent in this country.

Anyone have any experience with Prime-All and the percussion cap maker?

I have a Pietta 1858 and a Uberti Dragoon. Would a #10 or #11 die work best. From what I understand every companies #10 and #11 are different sizes.

I have one of these kits and they do work ,, but be patient , you are working with very small pieces , I keep the empty cci large large pistol primer blocks to store the caps in during and after I make them up , good luck !
The only difference between 10 & 11 caps is the length, you will find that the caps you make will fit better that factory made ones

This is good to hear, I just received the #10 die and two bags of the priming compound. From what I understand, the fellow who makes and sources this stuff is quite busy, so I suspect we are not the only ones feeling the percussion cap pinch.

The #10 caps are a tighter fit than #11 caps. Much better suited for cap&ball revolvers. I still have hundreds of both.
