I made my self a nice little .25 caliber pellet gun propelled by a shotgun primer 209
Actually I have not made it. I modified a .25 acp caliber rifle to shoot .25 caliber pellet by inserting a Primer 209 behind it.
To start it was a .22 Stevens visible loader that had been re-barrelled to shoot .25 acp. from that conversion, the rifle became a single shot only as the magazine could not be used and since it was no longer original, its collectible value was badly affected. So since I only needed something not too powerfull to just plink and control varmint around my yard, I drilled the chamber and sleeved it to accept a .25 caliber pellet and a primer 209.
It is quite surprising how well that shoots ! No need to say that my 12 years old son really like it too !
