Will be reloading Win.NT small pistol primer cases in.45 ACP. Using 6grains of unique. What would be the best primer to use? Magnums or standard? Thanking you in advance for any info.

stick with your standard primer as there is nothing to be gained by going to the magnum type in the 45 acp- the magnum primer is meant for heavy charges of slow burning powder, like the top end loads in the 357 and 44- say 296 and h110 powders- the charges that run about 20 grains and more- you only run about 6-10 grains max with any powder in 45acp, so they're not needed

i don't know about your part of the country, but we tend to pay a premium by a couple of bucks for the word magnum- however winchester says "FOR STANDARD AND MAGNUM LOADS"- which infers that it's possibly a standard primer, or a magnum primer, or something somewhere in between- the only real way to tell would be with a pressure chamber and a specified powder charge and see if it generates extra pressure over a standard primer-
