Lots of conspiracies afoot. Anyone able to find large rifle primers? I was recently state side and they didn't have any either. Who has them in stock? Thanks

The simple fact is that the companies are currently filling large orders for law enforcement and the military, as well as still filling backorders resulting from covid. CCI and Federal were not even taking new orders this year, and don't expect to be filling new orders until late 2023 at the earliest. As to where to find primers, try calling out of the way dealers that do not have online shopping.

Some vendors have had orders on backlog for close to two years.

Even with the Obama ban scare a number of years ago and the festivities in Iraq,I dont remember ever seeing a complete lack of LR primers here...I suspect covid and the current festivities in Ukraine are the likely culprits..but,..

Just gotta keep an eye out locally.. I managed to snag 500 from cabelas a couple months ago.. ordered online and had them shipped. It’s honestly so thin out there it’s luck..

There is also a significant ammo shortage. If you were a manufacturer, would you choose to sell trays of primers into the reloading component market, or simply put it straight into ammo production?
