I was sorting some .45ACP brass and noticed that the Federal cases had a larger primer flash hole than Winchester, Remington, Starline or Speer. Will the larger hole affect shot to shot consistency?
I know with rifle ammo the usa shooting team actually went with a new brass using smaller primer holes. However some of the shooters still were not to keen / sold on it.
In my opinion I think it would all come down to the actual primer used. How violent/hot it is.
