primer forecast and a quick question

When I got into reloading a couple years ago I was given 800 LR magnum primers. I've used them in 303, 7.5 Swiss, and 8mm Mauser without any noticeable differences when shooting

My experience with magnum primers has been similar, except when it gets really cold, then the magnum primers keep things much more consistent as to when the firearm was sighted in.

I use magnum primers for everything I reload, including black powder cartridges.

Might stick with them then. Good to know

Me personally, it was my parents who taught me good manners and integrity, the other, my nature. Today, both parents are 87 years old and they still pass-on great advise. In todays world, idolatry arrives in all shapes and forms, the most common, "money".

No, just good common sense to avoid the Grasshopper/Socialist types.

Funny thing though, when it comes time for the Grasshoppers to share something of their own??????????????????? They turn into Crickets.

I fully believe in "paying it forward" and do it a lot, when it's warranted.

Not so much when it comes to those that insist it's their right to take what they didn't earn one way or another.

There comes a time when you can only help a few, then you have to be careful not to get run over by the herd of Grasshoppers.

All good. A friend has more than a few primers. Lent me a box. Working on a rifle that might be fussy about ammo. Been thinking about reloading and this gun gave me a push. Going to experiment with some different loads and bullets.

200k in a few hours is pretty good. Must be a lot of people monitoring the sites. 1 brick is 1k which looks like about $300 private? What were they going for?

Thousands of reloaders want them; each guy buys 1000; that is only 200 guys. If they had 1,000,000, they would sell them all.

P.S., I was too late. I got some small pistol primers for less than $90/1000 elsewhere all sold now too.
