Hello all.

Curious where the cheapest source for small pistol primers is online. I've gone through the sponsors, and some have great prices but than shipping to NS kills it. One shop in Ontario wanted $80 just to ship a brick of primers via canpar.

My local shop is very unpredictable with when they bring stock in, and the next closest (an hour away) wants 5.50 per 100 primers, no break on buying by the brick, and i have to factor ~200km worth of gas in my truck, and tax out here is 15%.

Thanks in advance for the replies folks.

Cheapest I've seen lately is 35$/1000 at tenda. For Sellier & Bellot. Free shipping over 300$. I ordered 10k. They also have good prices on campro bullets if you don't want that many primers.

I try to support local as much as I can, Brian Densmore has been excellent to deal with in the years I've bought from him.
It's a little over an hour drive for me, about three hours round trip after you factor in a chat.
For me, the pleasure of being involved in shooting sports extends beyond the cheapest price. I've met some great people and continue to do so.

As already mentioned, If you're willing to spend over $200-$300 Tenda, Canada Ammo and Western Metal will all do much better. Even if the OP didn't want/need all those primers maybe he could setup a local group buy.
Yep, only have to order about 8000 primers total which should be easy if he gets together with a few friends.

Canada ammos has the murom primers on sale. 30.40$ per 1000. Campro 124grn also on sale at 90$/1000. We're getting back to 2015 prices.

Can't believe people drive 3 hours to buy primers at 55$/1000. Actually I don't believe I'd drive 3 hours to buy anything that is sold online.

Those Canada Ammo primers on sale are really tempting me. I just cant justify $200 right now, brakes went on my truck and my stove died. When it rains it pours haha. I unfortunately don't have any friends nearby that reload either as far as a group buy goes. I may have to see if there's a market on the local buy and sell groups for cast and powder coated projectiles, possibly make a little money to pick up some primers with that way.

I'm terrible at keeping up and answering people, but thank you all for the responses as well.
