primers getting hard to find

Nothing new here. This seems to get posted almost weekly.
Primers have been problimatic since the early to mid 1990's. Ever since then I buy by the 1000, and often by the 10,000............. Never again.
As for Federal, well back in the '90's I gave up on them, if they only support the big military contracts, and turn their backs on the Civilian users. Hmmm. not another dime from my pocket I say. CCI and Win seem to provide something for the Civvy shooters, so that is where my money goes.

I just bought another 1000 federal 210's a week ago, even though I already have a few thousand on hand. They do get scarce at times, but I try to buy more as soon as I get down to a few thousand, and I have never run out.I gave up on CCI primers after having a few duds many years ago.I have never had a dud with federals, winchester or remington.

primers

doesn't look like they are plentyful...
went to le barons two days ago to buy 1000 small pistol primers, guess I was lucky...
they had only 2000 small pistol primers in stock and zero large pistol...
Should have bought their ENTIRE IMVENTORY OF PRIMERS....lol

well i was in Phoenix in Edmonton on Friday and there was a pile behind the counter. i actuarially 25K CCI's small pistol sitting in the garage that i am trying to flog. so the answer is no.

I just left WSS in Edmonton. No large or magnum rifle primers to be had. They did have some large pistol primers in stock so I grabbed 1000. Fortunately I've still got about 1500 Federal 215 magnum rifle primers left. I've learned that now it the time to start looking, not when I'm down to my last hundred.

I'll be going by Cabela's in the Peg either tomorrow or the next day. Anybody know how their stock is on Federal 215's???
