Ok this is probably a stupid question, I just got a 550 and was wondering how you take out the primers from the tube after you finish reloading? All I can see is removing the tube and the primers spill out everywhere???
The manual doesnt help much. Am I missing something???

i guess he needs to change the primer tube from large to small (vice versa) with some primers still remaining from the former tube.

i do not know if there is another way but i'd unscrew & remove the entire primer tube assembly from the press and carefully spill it back (upside down) to the pick-up tube; or maybe the primer tray.

normally, i'd finish all the primers that are in the tube. should i need to stop reloading, i'd just leave the primer in the tube and get back to it whenever.

If he is changing from large to small or vice versa he will need to change the carrier and the magazine anyways.. undo the 3 screws take the whole assembly off and take the top off the magazine tube and put your finger over the mag tube.. Invert and dump into whatever your gonna hold them in...

Change the tube. change the carrier put it back in.. Load it up and have fun...
