A guy needs his head examined for paying 25 cents for a small pistol primer.

I'm with you on that, but such statements and acknowledging them on my part shows our age.

I can see the day coming when firearms ownership/shooting/hunting is going to become a rich man's privilege or a racial privilege.

They are coming in. Federal and CCI are sold to the public. This is a BS statement - False in every way.
They are scarce because of high demand but they are coming in. Just saw 10 case of Federal just behind the counter of a dealer while picking up my order today. Same last week for CCI but about 100 cases of small rifle.

So when you don’t know what you are talking about, you refrain of making up statement like that.

Wow, I still have 2 brick of CCI Large Rifile BR-2 that I probably don't need... Maybe next year I will finally be able to fund my LR scope by selling my extra primers. That is just crazy, not a good time for reloading.

I just gave away 2 bricks of CCI LRM 250’s, Not the first time. Bought plenty for $9 a thousand after the primer famine of 92. I’ll never miss them.

The way I read that, is no new orders will be accepted. Distributors and retailers have standing orders for literally years now, and they have been / will be slowly filling those. Which will cause another surge in demand down the road as those new orders unfulfilled switch sources or simply wait.

It should not be too hard to find someone who will trade with you. With all primers being in short supply someone will want large pistol.

They already have a multi-year backlog on orders, and they are still working to fill those orders. Just not taking new orders until they can catch up with the backed up orders.
