hey everyone, was doing some research on primers and pricing ... what is the average cost of primers... in particular the winchester wlr primers... cabelas i believe it was , had them on for 1000 for 29.99... i know its a U.S. store.... so i called up my local spot where i do most of my shopping for firearms and related stuff... and they quoted me something like $68.00 for the exact same thing..is this a normal price or is he a little steep..

Lebaron has CCI primars for 2.99 for 100.... that works out to 29.99 for a 1,000....

My cost is $30.70 for Winchester Small and Large Rifle Primers.
Up $6 since last year.
CCI is cost $26.21 for Small and large pistol.

That's from my Distributor.
Add in an appropriate mark up as we don't work for free...

The most I've paid for primers is around $35 for Federal Match and Remington primers. Mostly they're less than $30 per thousand.

perfect, thanks for all the input guys, i went to a diff. spot and got the wlr primers for 4.99.... jsut baught 200 of em.. better than 6.99 tho
