Primos Bloodhunter HD Blood Trailing Light

I doubt it
Some body fluids fluoresce, but blood isn’t one of them

The UV light won’t pick up blood any better than you will

Its not uv light. Ive tried the blue lens before and found it worse than my cell phone light.
I dislike evening bow hunts but ill be forced to do them this season more than morning hunts
Just looking for the tool. My tactical lights are too bright for use at my feet and my eyes are very light sensitive.
Cooler light doesnt seem to help much either

I have a UV flashlight I was given as a gift some years ago. Thus far I have not used it to actually do a tracking, but I did try it under a hanging moose at camp, and the blood glowed fairly brightly. I think yes it would be an aid. But it must be dark, or at least dusk, it would be pretty useless in daylight.

Blood does fluoresce nicely with a UV, just like it does on TV for all those cop shows.

My son has a cat, so I took and shone it around his apartment. He was not amused when it lit up everywhere the cat has sprayed. Also highlights over spray around the toilet.

Urine really floresces. My eye sight up close is still good. Just in the darkness hunting in the maple and tulip zone theres alot of red specks on leaves and my lights are either too bright or not bright enough. I cant seem to find a white light with a high color rendering index thats easily pocketed

A UV light can really help show mineralization in rocks too. If you're into that kind of thing. Never used one for hunting though.

Blood most certainly does not flouresce. Urine certainly does.

Chemicals can be sprayed around at crime scens that make blood luminesce (glow in the dark).

I have assisted in more than one late night escapade, thankfully not in many years, looking for that elusive last spot of blood as a deer left overnight is usually better part of ate by coyotes by morning. Best thing I have found is the good old Coleman naptha lantern. I cannot say what it is but blood will show up way better than under flashlights. The blood has a shine that a regular light does not show. It not a luminescence but a shine that the leaves do not.
Here's hoping the critter is down in 40yds and no need for the light anyway!!Good luck.
