Princess auto rotary tumbler

Capacity is pretty small but otherwise it should work fine.

Pretty small is an understatement. Was there getting some other stuff and picked one up. You definitely get what you pay for. I might get a dozen 45/70 cases in it. There’s no ribs inside the flimsy tumbler so I don’t think I would want to use pins and water.

If you make your own Black powder this is the perfect tool for combining components during the process. Just saying. Stump remover, Sulfur and charcoal..lots of videos how to make.

Wonder if it would work to powder coat cast bullets in?
To be honest, with the tumbler's limited capacity and the ease with which bullets can be PC'd in a margarine container with the shake & bake method I don't think it would be any faster and probaby a lot messier.

In my experience, using a powder with good static adhesion (e.g. Tool Blue, Gloss Black or Clear) and pre-heating the bullets before shaking & baking (I warm them so they are hot but not quite hot enough to burn your hand) gives excellent coverage. By alternating two toaster ovens I can easily do 700-900 bullets per hour.

I bought one after seeing this post. Had seen it on Princess Auto site before but was previously out of stock. It's a decent price and will let me polish up small batches before reloading. I like that it came with a half pound of walnut media.

Managed to squeeze about 250 9mm cases in there along with half the provided media. Filled it up to about 90% capacity and closed it. It's quiet compared to my wet FART.
