I'm looking to embark upon my first deer hunting trip and have heard good things about Princeton (this is also going to be a weekend trip so I wanted a place not too far from the lower mainland). Without asking anyone to give up their favorite spots would anyone mind pointing me in a general direction for that area?

Thanks a lot,
Matt

The hills around Tulameen (@ 25 km. N of Princeton) are full of deer. Buddy of mine goes N. of Hedley most years around the old Nickle Mine site. Suggest you talk to Ron at Princeton Outdoors - sorry can't find the tel. # right now.
You could try my Son's garden in Princeton, he's pretty pissed after the deer cleaned it out !!

Hahahah - how convienient would THAT be? Shoot the deer and it falls nicely onto the vegitables. Throw a bag of briquettes under it and you've got the makings of a fine meal without carting the thing out of the woods!

"But Officer, I was just protecting my property."
In Princeton they had to enact a by law to stop the residents from feeding the deer because they are becoming pests ( the deer, not the residents).
