Question for the folks running a pristine action. Looking at picking one up for my next build but I would like to use a hinged floor plate style bottom metal (factory Remington 700 if possible) as opposed to a detachable mag. Will the pristine action work with that setup? I asked the folks at pristine but didn’t get a straight answer on it.

I work for Pristine and was emailing with you today - I talked to a gunsmith I work with who just did a build on the Pristine and he is quite sure it'll work. I also asked one of our original designers and he was also pretty confident. I will respond to your email tomorrow with hopefully some more info. I hope this helps out!
The port is tight to load compared with a savage or winchester 70, and is smaller than a remington but there is no raceway for the round to get stuck in like when I load a remington, I find it loads about as easily as a remington 700. Mines a 308
