Private Clinics on my days off!! 2016-17

I just started my second semester at Trade School in Midland, ON; Georgian College. I've got Mondays and Fridays free so let me know when I can have you up here.

Cheers,
Barney

With my Friday (yesterday off) I spent 5 hours in the public library (no telemarketers on the phone at home). 3 hours searching through the Electrical (provincial) Safety Code Book digging up the law(s). And then another 2 hours counting smoke detectors, repectacles, and various switches over a set of bungalow blue prints. Wooohooo! I'm a zombie now! :)

The M14 sharing would be a welcome distraction from the homework!

Cheers,

Okay, it's the fall and PR / CQB clinic season is winding down. I've got a job doing some home renovations and some wiring! It's all good. :)

All my evenings are free for the most part except for the evenings when there's a Leafs game... so I am holding out for a Stanley Cup ha ha ha ha Yeah, right!!

It's been a while since I've been on this thread. After the Xmas holidays, I've left my job in Construction to work for Bell Technical Solutions as a Fiber Optic installer for the Fibe TV and Internet and phone services. All good fun. They keep me very busy and at least I'm using some of my sparky skills...

Well we've had a few M14 builders and rebarrel projects over the Christmas season. I'm working most days through the week and it's easier to have you up here during my middle of the week day off.

So depending on my schedule, I've suggested to my boss to give me Wednesdays off. I've got to work weekends (installing fiber optic).

Oh yeah, I'm still Tactical Teacher, but I happen to be logged in as my personal account since I needed to clean up some private messages over there/here.

Cheers,

Barney

Any chance of another YYC trip in 2017?

Right now my schedule is really tight... I'm working all weekends (union shop, eh?) since I'm the low dude on the totem pole. I am just wondering if this is the end of all my fun trips across the country. I'm scared to think that it's been a great run, but summer will be our/my busy season doing fiber optic home installs, so I need to see how this winter and spring is unwinding. Right now, there is no shortage of work. Hence, my reluctance to host any weekend / Saturday clinics for the time being. Mind you I do have a 649 ticket for the Saturday (tomorrow) draw...

You missed us in YYC back in 10 Sep 2016.... at the TSE facility. We sure had a great deal of fun!

Cheers,
Barney

Great... let me get back to you, since I do have ONE day off planned for next week. Many fiber optic installs booked for the coming week!

We will communicate by PM here....

Barney

Yup, and here I am with my single day off this week....

For those of you I chatted with about screwing on your USGI barrel to the Norinco receiver... please ensure you unscrew (or drill) that stupid right side set screw from the receiver. Then the reinstallation or rebarreling process will be uber smooth.

Hey, what am I doing with this login... I gotta start a new thread...as TT (my alter ego...)

Cheers,
Barney

Hey Barney! Just got my first Norc M305 recently and could use some tips. Thinking of making this a project gun over time with a new stock and such (when I'm in funds) but I'd like to know my way intimately around it first! I'm out in Ottawa but my parents live round your parts, so I'd love to head over sometime in the summer when I visit them if you've some time. I'll keep in touch! If you're ever doing a clinic out in Ottawa I'd appreciate a PM! =)

We did try to arrange an M14 Clinic at Club De Tir D'outawais (sp?) across from Ottawa last November, but not enough takers.... :( You are welcome to drop by here mid week in the summer time, I'm more open with my schedule then....

Lovely! I'll come by then! I'm already having troubles with my new gun after first disassembly despite usual competence with mechanical things so I'm definitely going to take you up on this. Thanks so much, I'll get in touch around then!

Cheers!

Now that I'm no longer working full/over time with Bell Technical Solutions I've been having/ hosting many CGNutter M14 lovers here in my basement workshop. I'm free most days during the middle of the week. For them weekends, my wife gets first booking(s) with me and it's now April, and that means the opening of shooting competition season on most/many/ several of my weekends.

Middle of the week, I can have you GTA dudes/M14 lovers over to tweak your M14 or to build your IDF M14 USGI parts kit together or screw on that barrel to your receiver.

Give me a shout and we can make your project / build/ M14 dream happen!
