I've posted this on other Pro Ears thread...but Posting here for specific promo of this one model.

JUST ADDED TO THE WEBSITE !!! PRO EARS - PRO TAC 200 !!

I did not promote this model before on my site, as it's 19NRR.. which is not "Extreme Feature" like the other PRO EARS models....so I elected not to promote it as I want my products to be of Extreme features/quality....
I May have been wrong in not adding this sooner, cause, 1, it is made by Pro Ears and is high Quality and sound, comfort fit, etc...2, It is a lower price point, for those who don't want to spend too much. Only NRR is low rating, due to it's narrow style design... but everything else about it is PRO EARS... has the compression technology like the 300 & Gold, series...though not as good in total electronic quality as the higher models, but still good and with it's price point being only $159.90... It's the BEST choice out there for those who want PRO EARS, at a lower price point... NOW, No reason why not to buy PRO EARS !!

Price Reduced to $149.98 !!

I've had a bad experience with head phones (not this brand) where the head-piece to ear muff plastic broke at very cold temperatures.
Do you know the temperature ratings on these? After all, we're Canadians, eh. ;)

I'll look into that and get back to you.

I use my Pro-Ears Gold while coyote hunting all winter and have never had a problem. Batteries don't last as long as summertime, but that's to be expected. I've always been very happy with Pro-Ears quality. Good stuff.

Good to hear some good feedback on these. They really are top quality and I believe hard to find in Canada and not everyone is aware of the name.

Head office said, they are not affected that easy by the weather. They tried various formula's for making the plastic and it's not an issue. There was an older batch that a few broke, but not an issue anymore.

One of these models in stock and many of the other models. Don't miss out on the comfort and safety these bring to your shooting activities.

I've used them for years and they work very well for shotgun shooting.

The batteries don't last because they don't turn off by themselves, and the on off switch sometimes turns on in my bag.

It would be nice if batteries were easier to replace.

Agreed, would be nice if all models had the auto shut off.. the highest Gold model has it.... You'd agree these are great quality, likely the best ?
Which model you have ?

Would like to see this model move...so, price was lowered !! Low-Mid-price range model for outdoor shooting.. indoors, would still require to double plug.

This Weekend, I compared this model Pro Tac 200, only $149.98, with the Gold Series $354.98.
Though the Gold is much better model, with lots of better features and performance level, the Pro Tac 200, was not exactly same, but very close in the "noise cancellation" performance as the Gold.
It was a windy day, and other brands out there, on their lower price point models, have poorer performance and are more noisy on wind..
These actually fared very well on this and sound quality was crisp and clear.

In short, I was very impressed of their performance for the price point !!
Very much a great deal !!

Great choice for outdoor shooters. Why outdoor shooters, with 19NRR rating, you can wear indoor ranges, but I'd suggest double plugging indoors.

Honestly, I think they performed similar to the MSA $300 models.... so why pay $300 for those, when they're only 18NRR.... pay half for a Pro Tac 200.
Or if want the best performance and features, go up to the Pro 300 series ($250) or the Gold series ($355) and get top performance with 26NRR (good for indoor/outdoors).

While RO'n a level 2 IPSC match today, a shooter had a really older model of Pro Ears Gold Pro Slim... He loves them and he replaced the cushions (maintenance kit) and the electronics keep going....
I've met few folks who'd had their pro ears for years and years.... so yes, they're worth the extra few $$

Holy Cow, I've been checking these 200 series models out and they're fantastic and comfortable !! Honestly, I think Head Office has priced them too low... the quality sound, compression technology, comfort fit, for only $99.99 U.S. MSRP ? ? !!! I think they should have been at least $50 more..

These truly are a great option for this price point !! With these out there now, ABSOLUTELY No reason to by the howard leights model, the green one that sells for about same or for little less !!!

the Pro Ears - Pro 200 series are far superior to those, in sound quality, comfort (with their leather covered special foam padding) !!.... and a 3 year Fkn warranty on the electronics...for $124CDN model !! shipped !!
