Several years ago I did some of their work, but now have a hard time just keeping up with my own

I think to be fair you should elaborate on what you need done.
Their guy is very competent at some things and has severe limitations in others, just like all of us.

Barrel recrowning,trigger work and reblueing of the metal would end up here anyway as they are not set up for that sort of work.
Not sure what you mean by sight work.
