Probably a dumb question about MRA Renegade

Just picked up an MRA Renegade to replace a newly reclassified safe queen and transferred the aftermarket parts.

I put a Magpul PRS on it, but there’s a sizeable gap between the stock and the rear of the receiver, it’s this an issue, or simply cosmetic? This wasn’t an issue with the Stag-10, in which the stock fit flush. Hoping some of you guys with more experience with modern sporting rifles can help me out.

You would need to confirm where it is bottoming out but I would think if the nut is the issue it could be machined down easily

I think its just because your end plate is round and doesn't have the bottom part.

edit: post above mine seems to be your answer as a normal end plate doesnt have a notch on top you need.
