I tried a hunting reload this weekend for my father's 30-06 and it did not work well at all
-Rifle is a Remington 700 BDL with a quickclip conversion
-Brand new Winchester case that were full lenght resized, lenght verified and chamfered
-Federal 210M primer
-Nosler Accubond 180gr bullets at 3.340 OAL (max to fit in magazine)
-Tried Varget 44,0 gr, 45,0 gr and 46 gr, all charge weigthed with scale
-Used Lee die with Lee factory crimp die
Loads were tested by 2 differents shooters. With factory Remington ammo we got 3 shots groups within an inch at 100 yards.
With all reloads we got 6-8 inches group
Any idea on what can be the problem ?
What do you use with Nosler Accubond in your 30-06 ?
And please no ''Lee are bad products'' advices. They work well for my 308.
