Anyone had problems with the Blueline BL-15 lower receivers?

Mine don't seem to fit properly on my upper, it seems like it don't wanna close up properly and the pin holes don't line up. Anyone experienced that? Or what am i missing?

My upper fits perfectly on Bushmaster, LMT, Sabre Defence lowers....

:weird:

I have one of these lowers myself, just got it, with an LPK on order. So I was hoping there is something useful in it.

OP says that the lower doesn't fit his known good upper. Someone else replies saying that the lower sucks because it's Canadian made(!). He is being suggested to contact Blue Line, which is actually sensible. Someone other mentions that the lowers were contract manufactured by Dlask for Blue Line. Now OP says that he will never call "them" (Whom? Blue Line? Dlask?) again.

So yeah, if you don't get in touch with dealer or potentially manufacturer, how are you going to solve your problem?

Or did you solve your problem? What was the resolution?

So yeah, weird thread.

Ok,
enough BS about the Blue Line lowers from people who don't have one, never seen one, but "cough cough" etc. still have an opinion.

I have about 4 DOZEN AR 15 builds , including several DLASK uppers and lowers, plus maybe another couple dozen ARs that were bought as complete rifles. The ONLY problem I ever had with a Dlask AR, was with one of the very early Dlask mini Moose builds, which, as another poster mentioned, were POWDER COATED, and a bit too tight. This is ancient history ... DLASK has been using anodising for several years now. And if you have one of those old powder coated Dlask ARs, and are having fit problems, take it back to Dlask and ask nicely if he would refinish it with anodising for you.

The Blue Line lowers were made by Dlask for a contract with a European buyer. Therefor, the registration certificates will say "LUVO" instead of "DLASK". I bought two of these LUVO lowers, marked as .22 LR, but otherwise lookin' good, primarily for a couple of AR dedicated .22 LR build projects. I got an 10.5" LMT upper, and my LPKs from Dlask at the same time as well. The LPKs were in unmarked plastic bags [ brand unknown ] and originally I thought that I'd paid way too much for the LPKs. But, when I installed the LPKs [ and I measure EVERY pin and spring etc with a digital slide caliper as I build ] I found the kits were better quality than the previous Armalite LPKs I had been using.

In fact these No name LPKs, were MUCH better than the parts tyhat came in my new Remington/DPMS R25/AR10. The trigger pulls were VERY crisp and clean, right out of the box ... which you can NOT say about the R25.

Both LUVO lowers went together with absolutely no problems, EXCEPT, one of the plastic pistol grips fit a bit loose on the lower. The round corner at the front of the grip was a bit larger in radius .... two minutes on a sheet of sandpaper reshaped the plastic PG perfectly.

BOTH these lowers fit PERFECTLY on my RRA 6.8 SPC upper, AND my LMT upper, and a couple of other RRA uppers I tried..
And by PERFECTLY, I mean TIGHT ... no rattle ... but still able to push the pins out with your thumb.

Believe it or not, there can be quite a variation in AR 15 upper/lower fit, even in parts from the same manufacturer.
Which is why,
with AR uppers and lowers,
I always try for fit before I commit.

Just wondering ... are you installing the front pivot pin first and then swinging the upper onto the lower for the rear pin holes to line up?

If you're doing it any other way, it could be really difficult going together. If at all, with a new receiver.

Often times with new receivers, I've had to hammer the pins in with a small mallet until the pins had a chance to wear in with shooting.
