Agree, try different ammo, my CZ97-B was the same way, fussy with the ammo,

TRy Wolf Bullets,

Clean and polish and the chamber. I may have a lot of crud in it.
I use a dremel with a polishing felt and a very light metal polish. It can be done also by inserting a bore swab previously soaked in metal polish ans use a variable speed drill to run it.
Check just ahead of the rifling for an excessive amount of brass or lead fouling. I use a Outer foul out system to get all the foreing metal out of the bore and chamber troat.

Hank_81,

You should not worry at all. Those CZ are really well build. I used that frame to build two IPSC open gun in 9 X21 MM , a round a lot hotter than 9 mm. Nothing broke in more than 80 000 rounds. Some parts did wear out because of the pounding suffered but never got a parts failure.
Most problems are owner induced...be ammo.. lack of cleaning, proper maintenance and lubrification.

thank you for reply,it didn't start when i bought new,it start about 300 to 400 round .i'm use reload ammo, i'm use 180 gr fmj and titegroup powder , i had try from 4.3gn , 4.5gn, 4.6gn ,4.7gn and 4.9gn titegroup powder, col:1.125",i had try longshot powder 7.0gn ,7.5gn 7.8gn same bullet:180gr.same col:1.125. nothing change ,still jam up after chamber get hot. i really like that CZ gun ,just why i still want to solve the problem.  :( :(

dc747,

Do your sizing dies adjusted properly - touching ( kissing the shelholder ?)
Is this good brass or range mixed brass ?
Do you tumble clean your brass ?
Hogdon list 4.7 grain of Titegroup as maximum for a 180 grain bullet.

I found no factory Hogdon data for the Longshot powder on their web site and it is not listed in my manual. Check the max load published if you have this info. They do state Longshot is a good powder to make major in the .40, just that I did not find it.

There is many receipt by shooters on the internet, but stick to published data.

Your brass might have expanded too much just ahead of the rim because of excessive pressure.

I know I repeat myself, but get the bore and chamber really a good scrub with a copper solvent.
Fire your gun with factory ammo - winchester white box is not expensive- and see if the problem is there.

Your reload and brass are the suspect...
