I went to shoot the rifle at a friends farm and my bolt kept jaming.
I looked and looked and couldn't figure it out, I took the magazine out
and put it back in and it loaded fine.
I fired the round and went to reload same problem.
Finally I looked at my bullet and noticed the tip of my hollow point was
gauged by the barrell.
The Magazine is so sloppy that some times it sits to low for proper feeding.
Has anyone seen this or now how I can fix this?
I really like the rifle but I can't have it miss feeding when I need to reload quick for something live!!

Also does anyone know if and how you can adjust the trigger pull on it?

thanks

"...gouged by the barrel..." That's not important. The base of the bullet is important, but not the point.
Sounds like the mag latch may be the culprit. It's not holding the mag in place properly. The mag itself may be damaged too. If it's a new rifle, contact Marlin or take it back to where you bought it. You have a 5 year warrantee. Call 'em and ask who their Canadian Warrantee shop is.

My 917V also had a very sloppy magazine. All I did was clamp the "clip" part of the magazine that guides it on the rail in a vice and gently squeeze it in until it fit properly. Now it works perfectly.
