i took out my rifle and noticed that my scope had moved back so i could not even open my bolt.the rings and scope are fitted propperly and are tight.is there something to put around the scope so it doesn't slid back or do i need new rings hunting season is soon so any help would be apreciated P.M if possible please

Other than stripping screws, scope rings don't generally wear out. If the rings are the right size, (like 1" for a 1" tube scope) and they have been properly installed, you shouldn't have a problem with the scope slipping.

You didn't mention what type of rings or rifle you were using. Rings & mounts aren't overly expensive anyways. If you suspect a problem with the mounts, just go buy another set that you will have more faith in. Weaver bases and Burris Z rings are a good solid combo.
