Just got it new, a few days ago from Marstar. But the action, seems to get caught up for some reason in fire mode. If you release it from the full open position it will close, but if you release at 3/4 or 2/3 it will "catch" at the halfway point between full open and close, on something internally related to the trigger group. And wont close again, unless you recock it, pull the trigger or dial the safety switch to safe mode.

Here is a link to the youtube vid to demonstrate the problem I am encountering. I had to recock the rifle over 10 times, in a 30 minute period, and pick up all the single bullets, that day at the range. Very frustrating. Does your vz/cz have this problem?

there is a piece that connects the trigger to the sear called the disconnector. It has a bump that sticks up for the bolt carrier to hit. You can fil some off the top of the bump, keeping the same radius, until bolt carrier doesn't snag, be careful not to take too much. Or you can replace selector with one with a shallower groove cut in it.

is your trigger missing a trigger spring , it looks like this on top of the trigger .

hmm.. it does not seem like I have that trigger spring. This spring would cause the bolt carrier to not slide back and forth freely I would assume? This is what mine looks like. In fire mode:

i see the vz58 has a different set up in the trigger area .

in that case , i would suggest doing nothing , leave it alone , not crazy about filing either, in time the wear will reduce the seardisconnect (SD) .

however ... when it comes to charging , it is designed to have the carrier slam forward so dont hold the cocking handle, give it a quick release .

i use a little white grease on the ramp and on the tip of SD on mine , see if that will help a little .
