Something is not right with the rounds I'm reloading but I can't quite put my finger on it. I'm having trouble with firing/cycling etc. Please see the pics below and advise......thanks.

This can't be a serious question.
But I suppose I will humour one point. Primer is in upside-down.

"And knowing is half the battle! G.I. Jooooeeee!"

Tee hee hee.....I loaded up 50 and then when I was putting then in the MTM box I noticed this fellow had its primer upside down.
(by the way, the overall length is within spec and I was using a rcbs ram prime.) Not sure if I put the primer in upside down or if it bumped the die on the way up and bounced out of position. I wonder what would happen if I had tried to shoot it? Would the firing pin reach it? Would the primer detonate?

the firing pin would reach it but not sure if it would detonate. if it did you would get probably get a loud noise and a scorch on the front of your slide. I had an early RCBS progessive with the shuttle arm that went from the primer tube to the shellplate - it used to flip a lot of them if you tried to go too fast.

Just the primer is wrong? I saw that, but it was the bullet/case that really looked off to me. It looks as though the bullet is seated waaay too deep or the brass is as thick as a penny. Maybe it's just my monitor?

All rounds should do well bar the one with the primer upside down.

Still personally I would not seat & taper crimp my rounds that deeply. Guess that is because I have reloaded some 10,000 or more & shot with no problems.

True at first I had not flared them enough to to much to seating a bit to low to not taper crimped correctly, to even a bit to shallow in seating. It is all the fun of reloading & YES to my surprise one turned with an upside down primer from the tube itself. Oh yes one sounded strange & sure enough the one that did not receive any powder. No one is perfect & you are always learning.
