Just bought a new Savage mk2 bvts a few weeks ago and i've been having problems with it. It's not ejecting properly nomather what type of ammo i'm using i'l often have failure to extrac and/or eject. Some times the extractor won't catch the casing and when it does usualy the ejector won't work. Any insights on what i could do to rectify the situation would be greatly appreciated.

Pull out the bolt and there should be a black clip spring. You can try giving it a bit of a sqeeze with pliers. Also make sur that the "L" shape or "notches" are forward facing towards the bolt face. It is possible that the Savage factory put it in backwards. Mine was like that from the beginning. I have no problems now. Savage will send you a new clip if you contact them.
