Iam having problems with my Savage Mark ll .22Lr jamming. Can you help me out? It jam's when you are loading the bullets into the chamber the bullet doesn't line up with the chamber hole and then it gets all jammed up in the clip.
The "clip" (Magazine) is probably wobbling around when you're chambering a round...my 93R17 does the same bloody thing. I find it helps when I put my off hand on it to keep the magazine from moving when cycling the bolt.
It seems that on some of the rifles the action screws are not tight enough. On a couple of models that I have seen this caused feeding problems. In both cases, after tightening of the screws, the problem went away.
