Seems like you had the same experience as many of us at that store... Any deal you make is only valid there and now.
Ho well, if you are ever looking for more archery stuff (or firearm related stuff for that matter) check out Mc Comber Archery on the Kahnawake reserve (450-632-5732), Suzy is a great gal to deal with.

More likely you will see them for sale at rediculous prices now that they know they're worth something!

The truth is, Rudy's way off the mark as far as what the guns are worth (or, he simply thought I was a blithering idiot). Almost all of them vary from fair to good in condition. He claimed his Luger 08's (he has two of 'em) are "easily worth $1,200/ea. I suppose that's why he never bothered advertising them. It's a common problem amongst those with too much money 
The box full of the guns I'd picked had the gun hammers of some rubbing against the gun stocks of the others, rubbing scratch marks into each other....it was pitiful & painful.
People, remember one thing. This is Canada, and we live in an imperialistic system. Which, being a businessman myself, I have no problems or issues with. The ONLY issue I have is with the fact that Rudy baled on what he'd said. By taking the un-manly way out, he lost my little, itty-bitty .5% of his firearms-related business. I'm just hoping that some others will let him know what most GNers think of his backpaddling ways. I'm confident he'll hear about my little "exposé".. He has my phone number as well, should he decide to apologize or yell at me....
Anyone wishing to buy a prohib form Dante should know, he seems to tack on at least one zero to his cost price when figuring the retail selling price of his prohibs. While I was there the first time, I personally witnessed some guy bring in & sell his model 36 snubnose for $25. I'm taking bets he's got it for sale for no less than $250.00. While there the last time, some poor sap brought in a beautiful P-99QA, said he just wanted $500. I "think" they gave him $250-$300, not quite sure.
