I have a question about prohibited parts for full auto guns. What parts of a gun is A restricted licence holder allowed to have. Lets use a bren gun for example. What parts you you be allowed to have ? by this I mean would I be allowed to own the bi-pod, stock, A un cut barrel, maybe the bolt, bolt carrier, sights, sling etc. I know this might sound like kind of A silly question but I would like to start A collection of WWII deacts and some accessories. Any info you can give me would be grate. I want to keep myself out of jail and have a nice collection. Thanks

You can have all the bits and pieces except those that make it FA and unpinned mags. Dewats are mostly completely inoperable anyway though.

I'm sure someone will correct me if i'm wrong but i think you can own everything except the receiver! but then again is it prohibited if its just the receiver and not assembled or does it become prohibited once the gun is assembled, that is what needs to be determined.

Importation is another matter though.

Don't try to import anything (unless you have an import certificate).

If I remember, If its already de-activated, then there really is not problem. You don't even need a PAL to own Deactivated firearms. But, you might want to look into it, I tend to combine to laws into one weird one from time to time.
